Mark and Dee Donaldson of Martin took the O-R along to the Southernmost point in the United States at Key West, Fla., on their Christmas vacation.
Mitch Bostick and Beverly Sloane took the O-R along to Ruskin, Fla., so Mitch could spend his birthday with his twin sister Millie Stahl.
Some members of Friendship Community Church took the O-R along on a three-day excursion to Lancaster to shop and see the production of "Joseph" at Sight & Sound Theater. George and Judy Vitteck of Washington along with their granddaughter Megan, a student at the University of South Alabama, and friend Zachary Supinski, attended the christening of LPD-26, named for Congressman John P. Murtha of Johnstown.
Cathy Kelvington of Washington took the O-R along while visiting and touring Studio Park, the home of QVC Shopping Network, in West Chester.
The O-R took a bus trip to Niagra Falls, N.Y., with Andrea Slebonick, Diane Cross and Pauline Kelley, members of the St. Mary Hilltoppers. They are pictured at Rainforest Cafe.
Linda Levandosky of Finleyville and Ronnie and Brenda Wood of Clinton, Miss., took the O-R along on a trip to Branson, Mo., and Eureka Springs, Ark. They are pictured in front of the Mickey Gilley Theatre.
The O-R visited Tennessee May 4-8 with a group of Midway Seniors. They enjoyed eight shows in four days.
Edward and Barbara Cianelli of Marianna took the O-R along while visiting the Elvis Presley Wedding Chapel. They were in Las Vegas, Nev., to attend the wedding of their daughter Gianna and Dave Sloan.
Pam Whitfield, Anne and Ron Whitfield and Darlene and Terry Whitfield took the O-R along to Sedona, Ariz., while they spent the month of April there.

Daryl Allegretti traveled to the Netherlands in May with her daughter Karen Wagner and grandsons Hudson and Barlow Wagner to visit her son-in-law Chuck Wagner who was working there. They are pictured on a bridge over one of the many canals in Amsterdam.

A mission team visited The New Testament Mission in LaCroix, Haiti, from April 18-25. The team included Emma and Lori Engle, Sophia and Lisa Scarmazzi, Ellen Richards, Liv and Deb Evans, Rebecca and Jane Evans, Mike Almasy, Dr. Stu Broberg, Dr. George Jones, Denise Douglas, Norm Erbrecht, Dave Fisher, Donna Carlisle and Maureen McDowell.
Three days after making a decision to return to Mt. Katahdin, David Galiffa of Washington picked up a copy of the O-R to find an article on Mt. Katahdin. Galiffa failed to reach the summit 12 years ago with the Boy Scouts. But seeing the article encouraged him to try again. He went on a road trip July 10 to Northern Maine, Vermont and Northern New York to reach mountain tops never visited and would not return without leaving his mark on Mt. Katahdin. He took the article from the O-R along as he reached the top.
LaVerne Gibbs, Valerie Britt and Joanne Thompson, all of Canonsburg, took the O-R along to a family celebration in Denver, Colo. Joe and Thelma Ward of Denver were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and Joe was celebrating his 87th birthday.
Mark O'Leary, Dick Wilson, Jim Ross and Kenny Hines took the O-R along while golfing at Man O'War Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Gary Orndoff, daughter Tracy and granddaughters Abbigail, Destinie and Katie took the O-R along on vacation to New York City, N.Y.

Harry and Barbara DeWitt of Canonsburg recently visited the National Navy UDT Seal Museum in Fort Pierce, Fla., while visiting friends and family.
