Trinity 59, Bethel Park 53: Joey Koroly scored a game-high 20 points as Trinity defeated Bethel Park 59-53 in a non-section game.

Koroly helped build the lead for the Hillers with 17 points in the first half as Trinity took a 37-28 lead into halftime.

Trinity (2-1) also found scoring from Dylan Kern, who hit four three-pointers and finished with 14 points.

Justin Meis and Jake Nutridge were in double figures with Bethel Park (1-2) with 16 and 13 points, respectively.

Peters Township 65, Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 31: Peters Township hit five three-pointers in the third quarter to pull away and defeat North Catholic 65-31 in a non-section game. 

The deep ball helped the Indians outscore North Catholic 18-1 in the third quarter, 41-10 in the second half.

North Catholic (0-3) failed to get any offensive spark in the second half after only trailing 24-21 at halftime.

Brian Davidson led the Trojans with nine points.

Peters Township (3-0) was paced by Conor Pederson, who finished with a game-high 16 points.

Norwin 51, Monessen 49: Josh Ratesic hit a game-winning shot with less than five seconds left in regulation as Norwin defeated Monessen 51-49 in the consolation game at the Franklin Regional tournament.

Ratesic pulled up from 15 feet to hit the final shot, completing a Norwin (3-1) comeback after falling behind 14-2 to begin the game.

Norwin was led by 14 points from Jayden Walker.

Monessen (1-3) was outscored in the final two quarters 32-17. 

Vaughn Taylor led the Greyhounds with 13 points. Lyndon Henderson and Cory Fleming had 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Canon-McMillan 69, Southmoreland 35: A balanced offensive attack and 40 first-half points led Canon-McMillan to stay unbeaten as the Big Macs defeated Southmoreland 69-35 in a non-section game.

Canon-McMillan (3-0) was paced by Ethan Beachy’s 11 points. Luke Palma and Elliot Waller each had 10 points for the Big Macs.

Brett Glowacki led Southmoreland (1-2) with 15 points. Dylan Eicher and Riley Comforti finished in double-digits for the Scottie, each with 10 points.

Waynesburg 80, Charleroi 50: Darton McIntire poured in 35 points as Waynesburg defeated Charleroi 80-50 in a non-section game.

McIntire made 13 field goals, five three-pointers, and went 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.

Despite eight players scoring for Charleroi (0-3), including a team-high 10 points from Caleb Carson, the Courgars couldn’t stop Waynesburg. The Raiders scored 20 or more points in three quarters.

Lucas Gardner and Richard Bortz each scored eight points for Waynesburg (1-2).

Serra Catholic 74, California 46: Jimmy Moon had 26 points to lead Serra Catholic past California 74-46 in a non-section game.

Moon made eight field goals and went 7-of-10 from the free-throw line. 

Serra Catholic (2-1) also found secondary scoring from Khalil Smith, who finished with 20 points, and Bernard Lawson’s 12 points.

The Trojans, who failed to outscore Serra Catholic in any quarter, didn’t eclipse 50 points for the first time this season.

California (2-1) was paced by Dru Miller’s 13 points. Ben Wilson had 12.

Washington 61, Frazier 46: An early deficit was too much to overcome for Frazier as it fell to Washington 61-46 in a non-section game.

The Prexies jumped out to a 24-5 lead after one quarter and matched Frazier’s 12-point second quarter to take a 36-17 advantage into halftime.

Washington (2-1) had four players reach double-digits, including a team-high 16 points from Carley Allen. 

Torri Finley finished with 13 points for the Prexies, while Randi Thomas and Tamia Russell each had 10.

The only consistent offense Frazier (1-2) could find was Brooke Poling, who scored a game-high 27 points.

Albert Gallatin 43, Waynesburg 27: Abby King scored a game-high 16 points to lead Albert Gallatin past Waynesburg, 43-27, in a non-section game.

King, who made one fewer basket than the entire Waynesburg team, helped the Colonials jump out to an early 19-4 lead after the first quarter.

Bryn Bezjak also finished with 13 points for Albert Gallatin (2-1). Bezjak made three three-pointers. 

Waynesburg (1-2) was paced by Emma Mankey, who finished with a team-high eight points.
