Legion baseball
Gage Clark and Dalton Riggenbach shut out Waynesburg Legion to give Jefferson-Morgan Legion a 3-0 victory.
Clark threw five shutout innings with seven strikeouts, and Riggenbach got the save.
Both teams had five hits. Hunter Bowen knocked two hits for Jefferson, and Zach Gamble scored two runs.
Pony baseball
Ty Banco and John Henry both hit home runs for Chambers Insurance to defeat McGuffey 15-4.
John Henry, who was also the winning pitcher, hit a two-run homer, and Banco smacked a three-run roundtripper.
Jase Banco also doubled for Chambers in the win.
At The Meadows
Media Buzz secured the lead past the quarter and went on to capture his second straight win in Monday’s feature at The Meadows, a $13,000 Conditioned Trot.
Steve Bush trains Media Buzz, who lifted his career bankroll to $123,510, and owns with Alvira Fassett and Dennis Fassett.
Tony Hall, Mike Wilder and Dave Palone each collected three wins on the 13-race card.
