National Weather Service issues high wind warning for area
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a high wind warning for Southwestern Pennsylvania, including Washington and Greene counties.
The warning is in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday. Northwest winds from 15 to 25 mph are expected with gusts up to 60 mph. The NWS said damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines and power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
