Hit-and-run crash: A driver left the scene of a crash Friday night after striking another car on West Run Road in Center Township, state police said. Police said the car hit the sideview mirror of a vehicle driven by Lisa A. Durbin, 45, of Waynesburg, about 6 p.m. and then left the scene. Neither Durbin, nor her passenger, Dennis R. Hayes, 46, of Waynesburg, was injured.
FRANKLIN
Single-crash: State police said Jacob F. Hadley, 21, of Hundred, W.Va., was uninjured Saturday when he crashed into a tree on Route 218 near Greenhouse Road in Franklin Township about 8:40 a.m.
Two-car crash: State police responded to a two-car crash Friday night on Route 21 near School Street in Franklin Township. Police said Michael T. Rice, 24, of Holbrook, went through a red light on Route 21 and crashed into a car driven by Dayna M. Bell, 33 of Waynesburg about 11 p.m. A passenger in Rice’s car, Angela McDonald, 21, of Holbrook, suffered minor injury and was taken to WHS-Greene hospital for treatment.

One-car crash: State police said Thomas A. Chess, 84, of Graysville, was driving on Poland Run Road shortly before 5:45 p.m. Saturday when he suffered a medical emergency and passed out at the wheel. Police said Chess crashed into a tree near Bristoria Road. He was uninjured in the crash, police said, but taken to WHS-Greene hospital for precautionary reasons.
