Waynesburg Sportsmen’s Association will host a Youth Fishing Day April 14. From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., the Association’s pond will be open to local kids age 15 and younger. The event is being held in conjunction with Waynesburg Cub Scout Pack 1280’s spring recruiting drive. Kids who join the Cub Scouts on the day of the event will receive a free fishing pole and tackle pack. Mingo Rod & Gun Club on Mingo Circle Drive in Union Township holds membership meetings each third Sunday of the month at 3 p.m. The clubhouse is open Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m. Pistol and rifle ranges for members are available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until sunset, and Sunday from 10 a.m. until sunset.
