Sydney Urbine and Sierra Phillips had the goals for the Bulldogs (4-3, 5-5).
Madison Musser recorded the lone goal for the Cougars (3-4, 3-5).
• Peters Township steamrolled Brashear, 12-0, in a Section 2-AAAA match-up.
Hannah Stuck led the Indians (8-2, 10-2) with four goals. Abby Neupaver added three goals of her own, while Jaclyn Vulcano and Hannah Pierosh tallied a pair goals.
• Annabel Thomas had a hat trick to pace Canon-McMillan to a 5-0 victory over Baldwin in a Section 2-AAAA match.
Leah Godfrey and Sam Snyder each had a goal for C-M (5-4-1, 7-4-1). Emily Snee added two assists and Abigail Hipkins recorded the shutout.
• Monessen goalkeeper Madison Telegraphis made 11 saves as the Greyhounds defeated Geibel, 3-1, in a Section 1-A match.
Mya Petruska, Sydney Caterino and Kinsey Wilson all scored a goal for Monessen (2-6, 2-7).
• Rhea Kijowski had a hat trick to pace a big offensive night for Waynesburg as it defeated Southmoreland, 7-1, in a Section 3-AA match.
Kijowski added three assists for the Raiders, who improve to 9-1 in section play and 11-2 overall. Kylie Sinn scored a pair of goals for Waynesburg.
• Trinity collected a 3-0 victory over Obama Academy in Section 3-AAA play.
Hannah Abbonbanza and Julia Chakos scored the goals for the Hillers (7-2, 11-2). Sarah Kuhns recorded six saves for the shutout.
• Five different players scored for Bentworth in a 10-1 victory over McGuffey in a Section 2-A match.
Jocelyn Timlin scored three goals for the Bearcats. Paige Marshalek, Lindsay Davis, Rori Schreiber each scored three goals for Bentworth (8-0, 10-1), which have scored 32 goals in its last three games.
McGuffey falls to 2-5 in section play and 2-6 overall.
• Rachel Weis and Annalisa Mariano each scored in the second half as South Fayette battled back to earn a 3-3 tie against Ambridge in Section 4-AAA action.
Sara Meindl also scored for South Fayette (5-2-1, 8-2-1).
Meyers win AAA golf
Jimmy Meyers of Central Catholic won the WPIAL Class AAA boys golf championship by four strokes at Oakmont County Club Wednesday. Meyers defeated teammate Neal Shipley, shooting even par. Luke Lestini of South Fayette was 10th.
