Rohanna finishes tied for 28th
Rachel Rohanna of Waynesburg shot a final round of 2-over par 74 Sunday and finished tied for 28th place in the Symetra Tour’s Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship at Battle Creek Country Club in Michigan.
It was the first event for the tour since the coronavirus pandemic put the sports world on hold.
Rohanna had five bogeys and three birdies in her round. She finished the tournament at 1-under and 12 shots behind winner Ruixin Liu, who followed a pair of rounds of 66 with a 71 on Sunday.
The next tournament lised on the Symetra Tour’s schedule is Aug. 14-16 in Mesa, Arizona.

A person with knowledge of the details says the New York Giants are going to release 2018 Pro Bowl placekicker Aldrick Rosas.
The person told the Associated Press the team is not ready to announce the move but reports the 25-year-old would not be back with the Giants were accurate. NFL Network was first to report the transaction.
Rosas was arrested in mid-June after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in Chico, California. He was charged with three misdemeanors.
