NOAH –

ROB – Rob, with Excel, we’ve been members since the inception of the gym, my son’s been a member since as longs the place has been there,

my MA background goes back to my tae quo do days, been with excel for last year,

Rob is also the gentleman

Don is not with us, if you’d like to talk with his

Friday night  Rob normal Friday practice, adult class, my son was there, we were having a normal Friday practice, doing stretch activity, 15 minutes into the class, light thresh into form, we were doing our own thing, I was working on form, Donwas doing his thing off to the side of us,

Jake and BB were doing their form.

We were doing thing and next thing we know we looked over and saw don have fallen over, thought he lost balance, called out to him and he wasn’t responding,

eyes mouth open, gasping, on. his back, Noah was grabbing his phone to try to call 911, I jumped to Don, saw the station was not good, tried to lean on to CPR training I’d learned once, breathed air into his lungs, saw he pushed it back out, jumped to chest compressions, my son ran around to his left wrist to try to take pulse, said he had a pulse, I kept the compressions going,

Noah called 9-1-1, they said the gasping was regulated there, they said keep doing compressions 2 at a time, Noah and Walt and Matt were looking for a nurse, 9-1-1- a nurse who was shopping showed up and was guiding us through the process, Noah

Rob – I had training, received training when I worked for a shovel but didn’t have to use it, it gave me some structure to realize what to do, to go through the steps that I did, as far as the compressions, it’s fairly simple, luckily, I panicked, 9-1-1- was on phone that was awesome it calmed me down.

I don’t know the time, they were wonderful, awaeosem, can’t imagine having their jobs.

The 9-1-1 dispatcher stayed calm throughout the whole situation, helping Rob do CPR, I took over and he talked me through it, 911 calm, that helped the situation a lot.

It’s a workout to do that, you’re hyped up, you’ve got the Adeline

You’re not leaving us, you’re not going anywhere,

Fortunate that I’m just glad that I was there, timing, Don couldn’t have been there, I thought about not going to practice because it was a Friday night but being fortunate and seeing the people it affected in a good way, it means the world, it was a sweet moment.
