Vets PTSD facility
Kerri Hageter – there is Timothy Motte, ex-police officer and veteran, trying to open a business, a not for profit for veterans, he wants a variance, I keep hearing gun range, he has 90 days to submit a plan .
member of Hanover community, live less than a mile away from his property, got petitions signed to oppose this, we want nothing to do with this, I want nothing to do with this.
Was supposed to submit a plan to supervisors, there are people who want to oppose it, people afraid, he’s not most stable person on the planet.
This is a place that is zoned residential, there can’t be a business, he’s trying to make it under tourism, he wants to build a facility,
Supervisors don’t have plans.
This is a meeting specifically for this.
We’re pretty laid back, want to I just want to protect my community. we have generations of people,
This facility is 101 Meadow Rd., Burgettstown, I am 596 Devils Den Road, less than a mile from him.
Didn’t submit a plan in 90 days. Only way became aware, he has signs posted on property, there was a hearing in Sept. for his land, and it was I think it said like something to effect of the use. Since he can’t put in a business, he’s going under tourist, wants a facility to make money. He’s like shut me down. Once you allow it it’s hard to shut it down. We don’t know what he’s trying to propose. He’s telling neighbors what they want to hear.
24 signatures on petitions form Purdy, Meadow and McCracken Hill, in opposition. My petition says we oppose because we don’t want businesses, we don’t want a business here like that, this isn’t something that helps our community. They have Wounded Warriors, things in Robinson, this is just a money grab. He’s so all over the place. we can’t let him get a foot in the door, think it’s for his buddies, he was telling folks he wanted to have a gun range.
