A Greene County man was charged with more than 20 counts relating to child pornography In December, TikTok made a report to a national tipline after discovering several videos on the account of Jacob Rex, 19, of Crucible, according to his criminal complaint. The reports described four videos, one of which involved a girl appearing to be between 5 and 7, the complaint said. An IP address provided by TikTok led investigators from the Southwest Computer Crime Unit to a home in Crucible, where they executed a search warrant on Friday. CANTON Child sexual abuse material: Dominic James Wright, 31, of Canton Township, was charged Thursday by state police with possession of child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the criminal complaint, in July 2019 OneDrive reported that an illicit image had been uploaded to one of its accounts. In February 2020, police served a search warrant at Wright’s home in the 100 block of Dorothy Avenue and seized a laptop that allegedly contained child sexual abuse material. The Greene County Farmland Preservation Board is accepting applications from qualifying landowners for participation in the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program. Applications will be accepted through the end of this year. The program is designed to help farmers protect their land for future generations by permanently preserving farmland from non-agricultural development.
