Greene man arrested on child porn charges

A Greene County man was charged with more than 20 counts relating to child pornography In December, TikTok made a report to a national tipline after discovering several videos on the account of Jacob Rex, 19, of Crucible, according to his criminal complaint. The reports described four videos, one of which involved a girl appearing to be between 5 and 7, the complaint said. An IP address provided by TikTok led investigators from the Southwest Computer Crime Unit to a home in Crucible, where they executed a search warrant on Friday. CANTON Child sexual abuse material: Dominic James Wright, 31, of Canton Township, was charged Thursday by state police with possession of child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the criminal complaint, in July 2019 OneDrive reported that an illicit image had been uploaded to one of its accounts. In February 2020, police served a search warrant at Wright’s home in the 100 block of Dorothy Avenue and seized a laptop that allegedly contained child sexual abuse material. North Franklin Township issues snow emergency

North Franklin Township has issued a snow emergency from 6 a.m. Sunday until noon Monday. Supervisor Chairman Bob Sabot, who also is the township emergency management coordinator, asked residents to clear the streets of parked vehicles to make it easier for township public service employees to plow and salt roads. "This will be a big storm, and residents need to have patience," Sabot said. “We have good equipment and enough salt to get it done."
