Soldiers and Sailors hosts its annual ‘Silence of the Lambs’ Cage Night

1 min read

Two floors of Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Oakland will be transformed into a scary landscape for the annual “Silence of the Lambs” Cage Night on Friday.

The heart of the event is a life-sized replica of Hannibal Lecter’s cage from the classic 1991 movie, along with a live Hannibal Lecter and Claire Sterling and original artifacts from “The Silence of the Lambs.”

A vendor marketplace with spooky merchandise and special refreshments will be available. A cash bar will be open to those aged 21 or older.

Those attending are encouraged to wear costumes, but organizers are asking that no full-face masks be worn, and that no weapons be brought into the event.

It will start at 5:30 p.m. For information, go online to soldiersandsailorshall.org.

Starting at /week.
