Federal, state, county and municipal offices will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver mail on Friday, and post offices will be open July 3, but no mail will be delivered on Saturday, July 4.
Freedom Transit’s Washington Transit Center will be closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day. Fixed-route and shared-ride services will operate normally on Friday. On Saturday, July 4, 2026, fixed-route bus service will not operate.
