DONEGAL Assault alleged: Andrew Tyler Melton, 32, of Donegal Township, was charged Thursday by Donegal Township police with strangulation and simple assault. According to the criminal complaint, at about 6:30 p.m. police were called to Melton’s home in the 10 block of Jansen Road. Christine Citerella told police that was asleep and woke up to Melton strangling her. District Judge Louis McQuillan sent Melton to the Washington County jail on $100,000 bond. Man accused of arranging Rostraver Township killing arraigned

A Philadelphia man accused of arranging another man’s death was arraigned Friday and sent to Westmoreland County jail without bond. Tuan Minh Dang, 47, is accused of hiring someone to kill Boyke Budiarachman in the parking lot of a Rostraver Township shopping plaza on Nov. 5, 2022, at the behest of Keven Van Lam. Authorities have said Lam, 58, of North Strabane Township, and Budiarachman, 49, of Rostraver, were former business associates whose relationship had soured.
