Cecil Township police arrest man for DUI, child endangerment

Cecil Township police arrested a man Sunday for driving under the influence while a teenager was in his vehicle. Grevis Yohan Parada Vasquez, 30, of South Fayette Township, faces a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children and a misdemeanor of driving under the influence. According to the criminal complaint, at about 5:48 p.m. Sunday, a police officer saw Parada Vasquez's pick-up truck go off the road and strike a utility pole in the 3200 block of Millers Run Road. A SWAT team was called to Peters Township Saturday night after a man was accused of threatening his neighbor with a shotgun. Gregory Steven Morris, 68, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault, and misdemeanors of terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment. According to the criminal complaint, police were called to Morris' home at 105 Timber Oak Court at about 10:10 p.m. Saturday. Washington man accused of assaulting police officer

East Washington police charged a man with a felony of aggravated assault Saturday after he was accused of assaulting a police officer while being arrested. Tyler Alan Lash, 30, of Washington, also faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children and resisting arrest. According to the criminal complaint, at about 11 p.m. police were called to the 100 block of South Wade Street for a report of two men fighting.
