Cecil to seek funding source for Generations Room repairs

Cecil Township officials plan to pursue a range of state grants to complete necessary maintenance on the Generations Room after missing out on county LSA funding. According to Supervisor Cindy Fisher, the room – part of the township building along Millers Run Road that regularly hosts Aging Services of Washington County and community events for seniors – is in “desperate need of repairs.” The room needs fresh paint, new flooring and replaced furniture in several areas, including a new automatic door, Fisher said during a supervisors meeting last week.
