A Canton Township man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of hitting a woman with a gun. Greene Washington Regional Police Department charged David Booher, 34, with a felony of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor of terroristic threats. According to the criminal complaint, shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday police were called to the 90 block of Moon Road. Booher's girlfriend told police that he had tried to block her from entering their trailer. When she got inside, Booher allegedly struck her on the forehead with the barrel of his handgun and threatened her life. A Masontown woman is charged with an alleged assault that left bruises and fingernail marks on her 1-year-old child. After taking a polygraph test, Arayiah Harris, 19, confessed to assaulting her child in her home, according to her criminal complaint. She told police her child had been crying throughout the night when she grabbed the baby, slammed them into the pack-and-play next to her bed, and then held them down with excessive force.
