Greene man arrested on child porn charges

A Greene County man was charged with more than 20 counts relating to child pornography In December, TikTok made a report to a national tipline after discovering several videos on the account of Jacob Rex, 19, of Crucible, according to his criminal complaint. The reports described four videos, one of which involved a girl appearing to be between 5 and 7, the complaint said. An IP address provided by TikTok led investigators from the Southwest Computer Crime Unit to a home in Crucible, where they executed a search warrant on Friday. CANTON Child sexual abuse material: Dominic James Wright, 31, of Canton Township, was charged Thursday by state police with possession of child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the criminal complaint, in July 2019 OneDrive reported that an illicit image had been uploaded to one of its accounts. In February 2020, police served a search warrant at Wright’s home in the 100 block of Dorothy Avenue and seized a laptop that allegedly contained child sexual abuse material.
