Pennsylvania American Water is holding two open houses this month to explain recent waterline expansion projects in Washington County and how people can apply for service or install customer-owned service lines. The Avella Road waterline extension installed six miles of eight-inch ductile iron waterline along Route 50 in Cross Creek, Independence and Mt. Pleasant townships.
