BARN RAISING: Crews lift barn off foundation for move to Ross Farm
Following a monthlong delay, Canonsburg Borough Council awarded a nearly $150,000 contract to Beaver General Construction LLC for a comprehensive repair of the borough building roof during a Monday meeting. Council tabled a scheduled vote on the contract in July, citing a need for further documentation from Beaver before approving the motion. The $148,600.20 contract will see the current roof fully replaced with a modern shingle system. According to Borough Manager Jennifer Foster, the current roof was installed in phases, with the most recent completed around 2005.
