Four people are accused of child endangerment after two toddlers in their care were spotted lying in the middle of a road in Allison. Police said the children were found to have wandered from the home of maternal grandmother Jeana Kline, 58, and paternal grandfather Thomas Darst, Jr., 50, both of Allison, who were named partial guardians by Fayette County Children and Youth Services. Waynesburg will put out another call for bids on a lot the borough took over after a 2024 fire. At Monday’s monthly meeting, the borough council voted to deny the sole bid of $3,652 by Cassandra Teegarden for the property at 224 Second Ave. That amount was about half what the borough expected after appraisals, said Solicitor Adam Belletti. “We could put in bat boxes and community gardens if we’re going to do that,” said Assistant Manager Bryan Cumberledge.
