MVAA hosting fife workshop

Mon Valley Association for the Arts will be hosting a fife workshop Jan. 19 at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. Introduction to new fifers will take place at 10:30 a.m. Instruction will be provided by Walter Sweet, a renowned master fifer with more than 30 years of experience, at 11 a.m. All ages are welcome.
