Penn Highlands Mon Valley shifts parking due to garage demo

Due to the ongoing demolition of the parking garage at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, patient and visitor parking will be temporarily shifted beginning Monday, Aug. 17. The parking lot adjacent to the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center will be closed to all patient and visitor traffic. The lot is expected to be closed for no more than three weeks. The circle in front of the conference center will remain open for patient drop-off and pick-ups. Parking will be available in the rear of the hospital for patients and visitors. School districts to receive grants for security, mental health initiatives

Seven school districts in the 48th Legislative District will be receiving more than $1.4 million from Pennsylvania’s School Safety and Mental Health Grant Program.
