School districts to receive grants for security, mental health initiatives

Seven school districts in the 48th Legislative District will be receiving more than $1.4 million from Pennsylvania’s School Safety and Mental Health Grant Program. The funding will be used to support physical security enhancements and mental health initiatives. It was renewed for the 2026-27 school year as part of the recently approved state budget. State Rep.
