There is a national shortage of type O blood, and nonprofit blood services provider Vitalant is urging individuals, especially those with type O blood, to make appointments to donate. Since May, the type O blood supply has dropped to a two-year low. Pittsburgh man found dead in car at welcome center on I-70

A Pittsburgh man was found dead Thursday morning while in his parked car at the Pennsylvania Welcome Center along Interstate 70 in Donegal Township. Cecil Braun, 60, was discovered dead in his car by a tractor-trailer driver who called authorities to report the situation about 8:30 a.m., Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco said in a press release. Warco said Braun had been living in his car at the rest stop since he had been evicted from his residence in Pittsburgh last Friday.
