Yoga in the park The Yoga in the Park at Mingo Creek County Park will be June 10 at 6 p.m. The group will meet at the Mingo Creek County Park Group Camping Area, near the Observatory. This is an introductory yoga class, but all skill levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel. PathWays is set to further expand its early-intervention capacity thanks to recently awarded grant funding. The $5,000 grant was awarded by the Washington Greene Health Foundation’s 2026 Community Grants Pilot Program, which will fund a new social-emotional learning curriculum and a related staff training program to improve early-intervention capacity. Saying that the need is urgent, the American Red Cross has issued a call for blood donors. Donors of all blood types are needed to maintain a supply of blood in hospitals through the summer. Platelets are also needed. The American Red Cross has experienced a drop in scheduled donations in recent weeks, plus blood donations typically drop in the summer due to school breaks and regular donors taking vacations.
