CANTON Retail theft: David Austin Hennessee, 20, and Raymond Jay Shinkle, 27, both of Washington, were charged by Greene County Regional Police Friday in connection to a scheme to fraudulently purchase more than $11,500 in gift cards. According to the criminal complaint, Hennessee was employed at the Circle K convenience store at 860 Henderson Ave. Charging documents state between May 31 and June 16, Hennessee loaded gift cards for Shinkle, but then refunded the order or did not complete the sale.
