Washington Italian Festival to honor Italian American veterans
The Chartiers-Houston Buccaneer Marching Band will host its annual band festival on Saturday. Eight other area high school marching bands will join the Buccaneer Band for an evening of song, field formations and drumlines. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the first band taking the field at 7 p.m. Tickets for the general public can be purchased at the door for $10. Student tickets cost $5. The event will take place outdoors at Chartiers-Houston Jr./Sr. High School’s Buccaneer Stadium, 2020 W. Pike Street, Houston.
